Mot du Chef du D\u00e9partement<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’agriculture est un secteur vital pour l’\u00e9conomie et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire de notre pays, repr\u00e9sentant une part significative du Produit Int\u00e9rieur Brut (PIB) et employant une grande partie de la population active. En effet, l’agriculture constitue la colonne vert\u00e9brale de notre \u00e9conomie, fournissant les ressources n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 la satisfaction des besoins alimentaires de la population, \u00e0 l’exportation et \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation d’emplois. Cependant, le secteur agricole est confront\u00e9 \u00e0 des d\u00e9fis majeurs, tels que la croissance d\u00e9mographique, les changements climatiques, la d\u00e9gradation des sols, la p\u00e9nurie d’eau et la concurrence accrue sur les march\u00e9s internationaux. Pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ces d\u00e9fis, il est essentiel de d\u00e9velopper une agriculture durable, innovante et comp\u00e9titive, capable de r\u00e9pondre aux besoins actuels sans compromettre la capacit\u00e9 des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations futures \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 leurs propres besoins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Former des professionnels comp\u00e9tents, g\u00e9n\u00e9rer des connaissances innovantes et promouvoir l’innovation et l’entrepreneuriat agricole pour am\u00e9liorer la productivit\u00e9, la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire et la qualit\u00e9 de vie des communaut\u00e9s rurales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
