Citizenship: Cameroon Date of birth: 15 August 1980 Place of birth: Loum (Cameroon) Adress: P.O Box. 812 Ebolowa, Republic of Cameroon Affiliation:  Department of Environmental Sciences; Higher Institute of Agriculture, Forestry, Water and Environment (HIAWE); University of Ebolowa-Cameroon
Professional status:Permanent
Short Biography:  Native of Cameroon, I did my undergraduate and graduate studies in Chemistry at the Universities of Dschang (Cameroon) and Yaoundé 1 (Cameroon) where I successively obained a Bachelor’s degree in 2004, a Higher Teacher training Diploma (HTC Yaoundé I) in 2006 and a Master’s degree in 2007. In 2012, I was TWAS-CNPq fellowship funded phD (12 months Sandwich) at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil) under the supervision of Professor Nito Angelo Debacher and Professor Laminsi Samuel. I defended in 2016 at the University of Yaoundé I a PhD in Physico-chemistry of Environment. In 2021, I was granted two years Postdoctoral position on plasma-based water treatment project, funded by the UK government via the Royal Society and the African Academy of Science and hosted in the department of chemical Engineering of the University of Pretori (Republic of South Africa). I have served Teacher of Physics, chemistry and Technology science in Government high School from April 2007 to April 2024. Since April 2024 I serve as an Associate Lecturer in the department of Environment Sciences of the Higher Institute of Agriculture, Forestry, Water and Environment of the University of Ebolowa. My research interests include, development and application of non-thermal plasma reactors, non-thermal plasma modification of the surface of organic and inorganic materials, adsorption and synthesis using non-thermal plasma. I have authored 07 peer-reviewed publications in renowned international journals and actively participate in 09 national and international conferences. I am also a reviewer for Biomass and Bioenergy.
